Boîte rectangulaire en bois utilisée sous la dynastie Qing pour transporter de petites collations et de la nourriture de la cuisine à une autre pièce. Cette boîte vieillie est décorée de motifs géométriques de bon augure que l'on retrouve couramment dans le bouddhisme. Dans le contexte religieux, ces symboles indiqueraient " l'auspicacité " et " la bonne chance ", mais sur cette boîte à manger ils pourraient signifier " abondance " ; clairement un désir de ne jamais avoir faim !
